Chinstrap Penguin

Penguins are well adapted to life at sea. Their short wings are perfect flippers, their legs work as a rudder and they are very streamlined. However, out of the water those adaptations are less useful… Their wings are to small to be able to fly and their legs to short to walk quickly through the snow. However, they found a nice solution to that last problem. By laying down on their belly and use their legs to propel them. This way they can actually move quite fast through the snow, as long as the snow is quite flat.
