Aurora often comes and goes. So when you’ve found a nice spot to watch and photograph the Aurora it’s often a matter of waiting (and looking at the Aurora forecast websites on your phone) to see if it returns. On the other hand, you can also use the time to take some pictures of the starry sky, especially when you’re at a really dark place like Gryllefjord in Norway. The bright ‘star’ just right of the middle is planet Jupiter and on the left hand side you can see a little bit of Aurora.
