Slowly a certain form of excitement comes over me. Am I really going to Antarctica in 10 days?? Back to those magnificent albatrosses, the rough Drake Passage with its many Cape Petrels and the Peninsula with those thousands of cute little (and big) penguins… Almost two months on the Ortelius for Oceanwide Expeditions, visiting lots of awesome places, seeing all sorts of wildlife and experiencing great adventures.
Needless to say I’m really looking forward to my time up there and I hope to share my enthusiasm for these places with my guests and with the readers on my blog. At least I don’t think I’ll have any problems being enthusiastic for what I see…
