Meadow Pipit

One of the places I spent most time (apart from the beach at Dune where the seals haul out) was the north beach of the main island. This is the place where the new birds arrive. One of the most common arrivals were Meadow Pipits, they were really all over the place. Laying down on my belly, between the kelp on the beach to get a low angle, this bird wanted to pose a bit for me.

  1. I have never see this beautiful bird before. Thank you for letting me see her. What delicate colors. So dainty. 🙂

  2. Stunning images as always and I love your snow effect! 😉

    • Thanks 🙂 The snow is an automatic WordPress feature. Pops up every winter. But I kinda like it too.

But thanks for the compliment, always nice to hear it’s appreciated.
