Arctic Fox

As I’m really busy at the moment I don’t have a lot of time getting outside taking pictures. So back to the Arctic of last summer. Arctic Foxes are so well camouflaged that we often have great problems finding them. This year was different. Every trip we had several good encounters with foxes (often at the same places). This was the first good encounter. We were about to walk up to a bird cliff when we saw a whole family of foxes run around. When we reached our viewpoint on top of the mountain, one of the foxes had come up as well and started to walk around us, not scared at all. I only had a small group with me, most of them photographers, so we all took out our cameras and made the most out of this moment. Here a shot where the fox is looking at us, probably wondering  what those funny things were laying on the tundra…

    • Veel plezier daar! Een mooie periode, nog veel sneeuw en leuke vogels! Op m’n website (www.natureview.nl/photography) staan nog meer foto’s, mocht je nog niet uitgekeken zijn…😉
