Tomorrow it’s time again. I’m leaving for the Arctic. The day after tomorrow I board the two mast schooner Noorderlicht for a birdwatching and photography trip around Spitsbergen. After that I do two more trips around Spitsbergen aboard the Sea Spirit, a larger motor vessel. After these two trips I stay for one more towards Northeast Greenland. This means I won’t be online to post things during the trip. I hope to be able to schedule some posts in the few hours between the trips, but otherwise I’ll be back the end of August with hopefully lots of pictures and stories to tell…

See you then!

  1. Wait a minute! You’re gone for the summer to the Arctie? That doesn’t make sense. It’s cold in the Arctic. Summer is for warmth…………lol
