Back to normal
Well, I’m back home again. After a great week in Finland (more blog posts with pictures and even a movie will follow) and a great school camp in Limburg I’m now up for some more or less normal weeks. Teaching, sorting my Finland pictures and giving photography workshops. With the latter I already started today. Two workshops in reasonable weather (a bit colder as I expected in my t-shirt) and two nice groups. For me the most amazing thing was the amount of dragonflies. Many Ruby Whitefaces and Four-spotted Chasers (like the one in the picture) and a few Broad-bodied Chasers and a Downy Emerald. Especially the Ruby Whitefaces were really tame, several of them landing on one of the participants of the workshop.
This Four-spotted Chaser was taken with my 70-200mm with a 2x converter @400mm. To try to see how macro photography works with that lens. Not bad at all as you can see….
