the end of a summer
After 6 weeks on Spitsbergen it’s time to go home. The sun is setting for the first time, the birds are leaving, the flowers gone, it has been really good. First a really great trip on Noorderlicht and after that a good time on the campsite and in two different camps in the field. This was a really nice addition as camping gives a completely different experience over ship-based tourism.
Now I’m back home, getting used again to the normal life, wondering where all the nature has gone. There will also be time for new workshops and lectures. During the bear watches I got some ideas for new lectures, which will have to be prepared. And of course I’ll have to work on my pictures and place them on the site of my stock agent. But hopefully there will also be some time for new photo’s, I suppose there are still some dragonflies around here…
Thank you for your interest in my stories, I hope you liked them. Next week school starts again, so there will be less time for photography, so also less posts here. But I’ll try to write at least 1-2 posts a week.
