Arctic Fox

Arctic Foxes are always very difficult animals to find. Being very well camouflaged and small, they often look like stones. The past days I’ve walked around in Isfjorden with a German family. We had a very nice trip, enjoying the tundra with its views and its animals. Only the Arctic Fox was missing. On the last day we met with this young fox. Not shy at all to humans it let us come nicely close to great joy of the Germans. I also didn’t mind as it enabled me to take this close up picture.
