Winter wonderland

I’ve just returned from a successful trip to Dovrefjell, Norway in search for Muskoxen. In the next posts I’ll show some results of this trip and I’ll also be working on a trip report that will be published here.

The first two days after we (Ingvar Schön and me) arrived in Dovrefjell we spent getting into the area. This wasn’t really a punishment. The weather was nice: sunny but very cold, -30°C on the first night and the scenery stunning. I especially liked the shapes of the small trees in the large white snow fields and the pastel colours that appeared around sunset. Both are shown in this picture.

  1. Truly beautiful photos Arjen, absolutely lovely. They even give a feel for all the textures and temperatures. Thanks for sharing them with us sunshine!
