My snow burqa

When you go out to take pictures, it always helps if your subjects don’t notice you. With insect this is not really a problem, if you approach slowly you can often get really close. With larger mammals or birds however, you have to try harder. Green clothes, dark clothes, staying still for long times, all helps to stay unnoticed. But…. in Dovrefjell green or other dark colours won’t help me much as most of the world will be white…. That’s why I bought a burka (you know, like one of those islamic  garments) in winter colours, made by Astrid Kant. This one has an opening for my lens, an a “grid” (like a real burka) so you can still see the surroundings. Here in sitting position, but of cause also possible laying down.

I hope it results in many great pictures!!
